Oops…Almost forgot it was WATERFALL WEDNESDAY! 😳 Better late than never I guess. Here’s a recent image from a less visited,but fairly easy to access, waterfall in Sapphire NC. D.E.W. Falls isn’t far from the main road but is tucked away past overgrown rhododendron bushes and fallen trees. Once you clear the end o the path you are treated to your own little oasis 💕. Just watch out for the poison ivy along the trail! 😬 This image is not the format or composition I would have normally gone for at a waterfall of type, however, when you accidentally leave all your other lenses in the car and end up arriving with only an ultra wide zoom, you just go with the flow and make the best of it.
