💦 Living Waters 💦 They say not all who wander are lost… but if I am lost, let it be somewhere with the sound of rushing water and mossy rocks underfoot. 💦🌿 Waterfalls always refresh my spirit. They don’t ask anything of you — they just keep flowing, keep moving, keep renewing everything in their path. Nature’s therapy at its best. ✨ This little gem is a perfect place to stop and take a break from the daily stresses of life. It’s an easy to access roadside beauty within the Pisgah National Forest. During one of our sunrise visits to East Fork Overlook, I pulled out the Z9 and my long lens and captured a few isolation shots. Fireworks - July 4th, 2025 🎇 Tonight I finally had a chance to try photographing fireworks for the first time ever. Let me just say, I had a 💥 BLAST 💥!!! (Pun intended 🤪) Downtown Belmont was the place to be tonight. The streets were lined with hundreds of people for their #redwhiteandbelmont festival. I scouted a few spots and settled on shooting from the middle of Main St. since the local authorities said the fireworks could be seen over the street. Unfortunately, when they started, they weee a bit too low and behind the buildings so I spent much of my time scrambling for a new shooting location.
